1515 Series by French Master Knife Maker, Manu La Place. He has been manufacturing folding knives of timeless beauty and uncompromising functionality for five generations in his forge in Thiers, France. The origin of the name dates back to 1515 when the battle of Frances's King Francis I of Marignan was won.
Manu La Place artistically decorates the individual models by hand. This is an exceptional piece of Stag Horn. The Bolsters are Brass with an intricately hand carved Elk. This knife has a Steel Spacer with hand engraving "5/6" (indicating that this knife is #5 of only 6 that were made), along with Manu La Place's hand engraved signature. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and a soft leather pouch in a nice cardboard box.
These entirely handmade knives are exquisite.
